Where will my child attend public school?

1. On Post: Dependent children in grades pre-k through six  living on post will attend one of  two Department of Defense schools; C.C. Pinckney Elementary grades 2-6, or Pierce Terrace Elementary Pre-k- gr.1. Children in grades 7 & 8 are zoned to attend Dent Middle School and grades 9-12 are zoned for Richland Northeast High School. Both schools are located off the installation and bus transport is provided. Both Dent MS and RNEHS are Richland District Two Schools.  The schools located on post: C.C. Pinckney, and Piece Terrace are part of the Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools [DDESS] which comes under the umbrella of the Department of Defense Education Activity [DODEA}. Only dependent children living on post are eligible to attend Department of Defense schools.
