Before and After School Care
Child & Youth Services offers before and after school care at the Youth Center. Qualifying families with need for longer hours can enroll in the CD home which has 0400 drop off and 2100 pickup. Transportation is provided to and from several nearby schools both on and off post from both programs. The following are schools CYS will transport to and from: BOTH on post schools

For Middle School students needing a place to go after school, the middle school
house on Parker lane is a great option. It is free! Dent Middle School students can
take the school bus. E.L. Wright students can sign up for after school pick up and transport to the middle school center for $40 a month. Transportation TO middle schools require enrollment in the before school care program. Other middle schools may be added. ***The Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands offers before and after care at numerous schools and sites. It also offers 0500 drop off for military/DOD and transport to schools in the Northeast Columbia area. Cost is subsidized for military and DOD based on total family income.
