The Fort Jackson School Liaison Office recognizes that the military family's well-being is a priority of its soldiers. Our School Liaison Services provide access to a wide range of educational resources available to Army families. Therefore, the School Liaison Office is fully committed to leading the efforts of support for all military children and youth so that optimal learning experiences are achieved. ***Choice opportunities in Richland Two - It’s almost time to apply for Expanded Choice and Magnet programs. The Choice Fair (featuring Magnet programs) will be held Nov. 29, at Spring Valley High School from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Lead teachers and school representatives will have information available about Expanded Choice and Magnet programs.

Just click on the Expanded Choice & Magnet Programs button on the right side of the page. Please remember, parents must provide transportation for students who choose programs that are not at their residentially zoned school.
Applications will only be accepted online. The application process begins Jan. 3, 2012, and runs through Jan. 27, 2012, at 5 p.m. In March, parents will be able to log back into their application account to see whether students have been accepted into the program of their choice. ***Applications now accepted for summer arts program - Nominations will be accepted now through January 13, 2012 for the 2012 Tri-District Arts (Tri-DAC) Consortium Summer Program which will be July 2 – 21, 2012 at the Palmetto Center for the Arts on the campus of Richland Northeast High School. The program is designed for artistically gifted and talented rising sixth- through ninth-grade students (the summer before the 2012-2013 school year) in three area school districts, Richland Two, Lexington One and Lexington/Richland Five. Space is limited, so auditions will be held for creative writing, dance, music (strings, vocal and wind/percussion), theatre or visual art. The cost for the three-week session will be approximately $375. Nomination forms are available in the principal’s office at each district elementary and middle school, and audition requirements for all art areas, along with general information about the Tri-DAC, can be found at www.tridac.org.***
