    The Staffcentrix
    Portable Career & Virtual Assistant
    Training Program™

A Program for Military Spouses Based
    Upon the Rapidly Growing
    “Virtual Assistant” Industry

“Our mission is to prepare military spouses to complete successfully in the global job
marketplace as self-employed virtual business owners
    .” Victoria Parham, Military Spouse,
    VSSCyberOffice.com President

Virtual Assistants (VAs) are self-employed individuals who provide off-site business - support
services to their clients. These services vary from one VA to the next, based on their experience and expertise, and can include day-to-day administrative tasks, competitive research, Website design,
resume writing, accounting, bookkeeping services, marketing support, translation, and graphic
design. Work assignments are communicated through e-mail, phone, fax, mail, diskette transfer,
and real-time online messaging. The virtual nature of these relationships lends itself easily to the
transient or “nomadic” lifestyle that is so much a part of military family life.

Victoria Parham (retired military spouse and veteran) is the president and chief technology
officer for VSSCyberOffice.com, a forerunner in the virtual support services industry, an advocate of
portable careers for trailing spouses and family members. Its web-based Virtual Business Owners
Training Program(tm), the first Virtual Careers program for Department of Defense ID Cardholders,
is available and accessible at military bases around the world.
