Or perhaps you’re still at another installation and your family is coming to Fort Jackson?  If you want to learn more about Fort Jackson and the surrounding area, this is the place! We provide a sponsor for family members in grades 1-12th. Let us help you make your transition to South Carolina  and Fort Jackson an awesome experience!

General Information
Youth Sponsorship is here to help relocating youth become acquainted with their new surroundings as quickly and painlessly as possible. Sponsors are matched to youth according to age and gender and work with new youth to show them around their new “home.”

CYSS Welcome Wagon
New to Fort Jackson?  Let's the CYSS Welcome Wagon visit your child/youth. Children/youth currently enrolled in CYSS programs visit newcomer's to the community welcoming them with smiling faces and a bag of gifts and letting them know that Fort Jackson is a great place to live!   

If you would like your child welcomed to the community, please call 751-3977 or 751-1136 or submit the Welcome Wagon Request Form to the Central Enrollment Office at 3392 Magruder Ave in the Joe E. Mann Building.
